From the start, this shop has been an exercise is faith.

 

When this bakeshop opened in July of 2012, we definitely had no idea where it would go.  Opening a business is scary, rewarding, difficult and fun...all at the same time.  Two business partners started the company and after 2 years, one has moved on to new adventures and the other has stayed to fulfill a dream of running a business, providing employment and seeing where hard work will take her.

I have certainly done a lot of things in my life.  From Geological Technician, Nanny, Medical Transcriptionist, Snowboard Instructor, Event Coordinator, to Bakeshop owner, Mother and Wife -life has been a true adventure.  

 

Always creative, I loved doing crafts as a child and then moved onto cake decorating at 12 years old.  This was a hobby that I loved for many years and finally in 2012, was able to see it become my career.  I have been truly blessed with incredible family, friends and clients who have supported me each step of the way.  My staff is incredible.  They are funny, kind, talented and love the shop and it shows in the way they treat our clients.  

 

We have had the incredible honour to make cakes for our amazing customers as well as several prominent entertainers such as Cirque de Soliel, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, One Republic, Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue), AD/DC & The Tragically Hip. 

 

Being entrusted to create memories for our clients is something we take very seriously and this is reflected in the quality of work that we present.  That being said, we also believe that we are most creative when having fun and that is definitely what we do at the shop!  So come in for a visit, chat with us about your ideas and we will turn those into cake reality!
